Welcome to Tammy Brewer Photography. By booking a portrait session, wedding, elopement, or event photography package, you agree to the following terms and policies. We believe in clear, upfront communication so you can focus entirely on enjoying your Smoky Mountain photography experience.

What are the scope of services and location terms?

These terms govern all portrait sessions, weddings, and event photography services provided by Tammy Brewer Photography. All sessions take place at client-selected venues, designated public locations, or contracted third-party spots across the Smoky Mountains and surrounding areas. We operate as an on-location, field-based photography service and do not run a public commercial storefront.

How do booking retainers and payment schedules work?

A non-refundable retainer of 50% of your total package price is required at the time of booking to officially reserve your session date and time. No date is held without this cleared retainer. The remaining balance is due prior to the start of your scheduled session or event as outlined in your personalized agreement.

What happens if a session needs to be cancelled or rescheduled?

Because reserved dates prevent us from booking other clients, retainers are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule due to unforeseen personal circumstances, please provide as much notice as possible. We will do our best to accommodate an alternate date within our open schedule subject to calendar availability.

Are park permit fees and parking tags included?

Clients are responsible for any required public land or private venue fees. For outdoor sessions and adventure weddings within the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, special use permits typically range from $50 to $150 depending on setup size. Additionally, vehicles parked within the park must display a valid parking tag, which clients and their guests must obtain prior to arrival.

How is unpredictable Smoky Mountain weather handled?

We embrace the classic Smoky Mountain aesthetic! Light mist, gentle drizzle, and low-hanging fog create breathtaking, moody portraits, and we bring clear umbrellas to keep you dry and stylish. If severe storms, lightning, or dangerous conditions occur, we prioritize safety by moving below the treeline, relocating to covered spots like Greenbrier or historic structures in Cades Cove, or rescheduling using flexible backup time windows.

What happens in case of road or trail closures?

The National Park Service frequently monitors weather conditions and may temporarily close high-elevation routes like Newfound Gap Road or Clingmans Dome. We actively check park updates prior to every shoot and have established scenic backup locations ready so your session continues seamlessly.

When will I receive my final photos?

We pride ourselves on prompt, meticulous editing. Final high-resolution digital galleries are delivered within 7 business days for regular portrait sessions and within 14 business days for weddings and elopements.

What print and usage rights are included with my gallery?

Clients receive personal reproduction rights with full-resolution digital downloads, allowing you to print, share, and post your photos for personal use. Commercial licensing, third-party resale, and uncredited advertising usage remain reserved by Tammy Brewer Photography unless specifically arranged in writing.
